Featured Vendor - Be The Match Foundation

YOU CAN SAVE A LIFE!!! Take the first step - Join the Be The Match Registry℠

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will be at the Blackstone Valley Baby & Family Expo to add people like you to the Be The Match Registry.

Every day, thousands of patients with leukemia, lymphoma and other life threatening diseases learn that their only hope for a cure is a bone marrow transplant. These patients need to find a marrow donor who can make their transplant possible. Most patients (70%) do not have a matching donor in their family. They depend on people like you.

When you join the Be The Match Registry℠ of the National Marrow Donor Program, you give someone a chance at a new life. With a simple swab of the inside of your cheek, you’ll be added to the registry. So one day, when a patient needs to find a match. . . they’ll find you.

Stop by our booth at the Expo. Its as easy as 1…2…3.
You need to be between the ages of 18 and 60, in general good health and willing to donate to any anonymous patient.

Check out our website at for details on being a donor. Or call us at 866-875-3324 for more information. See you at the Expo!

Featured Vendor - Lia Sophia / Beth Bourque

My first experience with lia sophia was during a bridal expo a few years back. I had attended the expo with my bridesmaids as I was planning for my wedding. Of course the jewelry was unbelievably beautiful and as the advisor talked to us about the advantages of being a hostess my cousin booked a show for the very next month. The show was a huge success, we all loved the jewelry and spending time with girlfriends made the evening that much more enjoyable! Once we learned what the advisor was making in profit for that one night it was a no brainer that my cousin sign up and be an advisor herself.

A few years went by in my life and being a wife turned into being a mother. All the while watching my cousin build an amazing business! I thought about joining a few times but the time just never seemed right. Then my son came along. I then decided the timing was perfect. I do have an amazing career as an Interior Designer but after my son’s birth full time work was emotionally draining. I missed him immensely and the cost of full time day care was taking its toll on our young family. That’s when I decided the timing was perfect to make the jump from a loyal lia sophia customer to a part time advisor!

Now I am working part time at my firm during the week and hosting just one show a weekend. It’s amazing that now I am in control of my own schedule. I have more time to spend with my family and I’m still earning the same salary for sharing my love for jewelry with wonderful people! I'm in control of my time and my income, I wear beautiful jewelry, and I'm helping others, too. Whether is just feeling great about yourself wearing fantastic jewelry or becoming and advisor yourself, lia sophia has changed my life and I hope it can change yours too!"

Featured Vendor - The Learning Experience, Milford

The Learning Experience® is a premier child development center in Milford, MA. Just a few minutes from major highway 495 and Route 109, it is conveniently located at the intersection of East Main Street (Route 16) and Fortune Boulevard.

The center enjoys an excellent reputation for providing children the finest care and education in a warm and nurturing environment. We take pride in maintaining the most clean and secure setting for child care and education. We offer care to children ages six weeks to six years. Our highly qualified staff has several years of relevant education and experience in child care and child development.

TLE curriculum is a theme based program providing age appropriate activities that foster and strengthen your child’s developmental needs. We have a structured yet fun and exciting environment. Our unparalleled curriculum at The Learning Experience® includes a unique interactive program called L.E.A.P (Learning Experience Academic Program). L.E.A.P. provides our children the opportunity to develop core academic skills so essential for later success. This includes hands on science, math, music, and art. Also taught at our state of the art center is technology. Children fluent in technology will be one step ahead of the rest. It includes computer, photography, how to properly use the telephone, television and a wealth of knowledge in other related subjects.

One of the most exciting things about our center is our proprietary Fun With Phonics® early reading program. This past year a study of all children attending TLE across the nation, found that well over 90% of our children were reading by age 4 years. This is the best gift we can give to our children. They are fully prepared to enter Kindergarten and first grade when they graduate from our center.

Our programs start with very young infants. At TLE we teach sign language to all of our children starting with the babies. Research has proven that babies who learn signing can have IQ’s as much as 12 points higher than those who do not. In addition to all this, one of the favorite go to spots around here is another special learning area called Make Believe Boulevard®. In this area our children learn socialization skills. They love to dress up in the costumes and role play in the various shops of the Boulevard.

Open year round from 6:30am to 6:30pm, The Learning Experience® at Milford is perfect for the best overall development for children and their working parents. Many non-working parents have enrolled their children at our center, as they believe that our program is the premier in childhood learning and development.
